Python Job: Python Django Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled backend developer to join our exciting start-up in the telemedicine/healthcare domain. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend systems that power our platform. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with the founders and become one of the first hires of the company.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the founders to develop new features and functionalities.

Develop and maintain integrations with third-party applications.

Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using Python and Django.

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs.

Optimize backend systems for performance and scalability.

Work with the team to ensure the platform is secure and reliable.

Contribute to the development of technical documentation.

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development.

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience in Python Django.

Strong understanding of database management and ORM.

Experience with RESTful APIs.

Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.

Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team. Must be highly responsive.

Salary: 20k to 40k per month.

Passion for healthcare and telemedicine is a plus.

We welcome candidates who are open to part-time, contract-to-hire, freelancers, or volunteers. The pay for this position ranges from 15k to 30k per month for about 10 hours per week. This is a remote position, and the candidate can work from home. The contract-to-hire period is six months.
